Hickenlooper argues Colorado is a better home for Outdoor Retailer trade show 

…as attendees of the twice-annual Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City grow increasingly irked by Utah’s push to sell federal public lands, Hickenlooper’s record of celebrating public lands as  “spiritual and economic assets” has boosted Colorado’s potential as a better host for that show, too.  Outdoor Retailer for two decades has drawn more than 20,000 people a year to Salt Lake City, delivering $45 million in annual economic impact.
